- In my role as a Design Responsible Individual (DRI), I oversaw the development of four sensors located within the “Dynamic Island” of the iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max. These sensors include the front camera, Face ID, proximity, and ambient light. Furthermore, I served as the antenna DRI for the 2024 iPhones 16&16 Plus.

Mechanical Engineer II
Full-time
- As a Design Responsible Individual (DRI), I oversaw the development of opto-mechanical lenses, heat sinks, and mounting mechanisms for a Mixed Reality (MR) product. I optimized the complex lens stack design for the Heads-Up Display (HUD), considering optical performance, mechanical manufacturing, sealing, and assembly. Additionally, I supported the manufacturing team in building a new production line in Milpitas, California.

SERES / Sokon Fisker Motors Inc.
- As an architect and designer, I orchestrated the development of discrete IGBT EV drivetrain inverters spanning a power range from 150 to 400 kW. My responsibilities included designing components such as copper bus bars, thermal systems, and die-cast housings. In close collaboration with electrical engineers, I fine-tuned the laminated bus bar design to mitigate PWM overshoot and switching noise. Additionally, I provided support to the manufacturing team during the establishment of a new production line in Chongqing, China. Overseeing the entire process, I guided reliability and engineering validation tests from the initial A sample stage to the final C sample stage. My contributions extended to the creation of six patents in the United States, with additional patents filed in China.

Progressive Suspension & Performance Machine
- As a tester and designer, I evaluated and designed aftermarket shock absorber and brake components for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. I used hand calculations, finite element analysis (FEA), and Keyshot software to assist in the design process. Additionally, I maintained close collaboration with suppliers in Taiwan during the project.
